This water channel separates the Iran Plateau from the Arabia Plate and has enjoyed an Iranian Identity since at least 2200 years ago.”

As the fifth largest gulf in the world, with coastlines along Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, the Persian Gulf is home to many islands where nearly thirty of them belong to Iran in which the most popular are the seven islands of Kish, Qeshm, Hormuz, Hengan, Lavan, Laral and Ninoo Islands which are the hidden gems welcoming globetrotters and coastal tourist from around the globe.
